We consider a good breakfast an absolute staple, so we pay a lot of attention to the selection of products and the preparation of the breakfast.
While Jan gets fresh bread and rolls daily from the local bakery, Lieve prepares everything else. We get our coffee from a traditional roastery in the neighbourhood and the tea is fair trade. The cheeses come from a local cheese farm and the seasonal fruit is freshly cut in the morning. A local butcher supplies the fine meats and the honey comes from the local beekeeper. Some specialties that are not produced locally, we get from the local supermarket.
Jan prepares eggs at your request. An omelette, fried eggs, with or without bacon, hard or soft boiled, … You ask, Jan will make it for you.
Because of the Corona-measures we serve breakfast at the table. Each room or travel group is given its own fixed table in the breakfast room.
